We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, prototype, and develop mechanical systems and components for consumer products from concept to production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams based in USA, China, & Vietnam, including industrial designers, electrical engineers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality, manufacturable, and cost-effective solutions.

3. Job content 

Jobs that need to be done: 

  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings and specification for consumer products using 3D CAD software(SolidWorks, AutoCAD). 
  • Build and test functional prototypes to evaluate performance and identify design improvements. 
  • Collaborate with ID team and Production team to optimize designs for mass production(DFM). 
  • Document design changes and maintain version control. 
  • Generate Product CTQ(Critical to Quality)checkpoints to enhance product requirements. 

Targeted jobs (Depending on the level, salary increase, and promotion will be considered): 

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative product ideas. 
  • Perform simulations (FEA, CFD) to validate designs for structural integrity, thermal performance, and durability. 
  • Ensure designs meet industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO, UL) and regulatory requirements (e.g., CPSC, FCC). 
  • Select materials and processes (e.g., injection molding, sheet metal, die casting) aligned with cost and quality goals. 
  • Propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and innovation. 

 

4. Candidate requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design/development, preferably in consumer products. 
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD). 
  • Proficiency in English communication and technical documentation elaboration. Experience to communicate with Foreign customers. 
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration. 
  • Eager to learn, good thinking, and attitude.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Our Production controllers are responsible for planning and overseeing production to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within quality requirement, plan and designate production resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep management informed the entire way. They need to predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner, track products costs in order to meet budget, develop and manage a detailed production schedule and work plan. Provide production updates on a consistent basis to management and the rest of the team, about adjustments, and progress. Our production controller should also manage and maintain contact with suppliers, Logistic companies as well as customers.

 

·        Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.

·        Prepare products budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.

·        Track products costs in order to meet budget.

·        Develop and manage a detailed production schedule and work plan. (From RFQ, prototype, tooling samples, especially from production to shipping)

·        Pro-active drive all  related functions team to keep the production finishing in time, cost and quality

·        Manage suppliers to follow production timely actions and delivery from prototype to production, shipping request, clients' POs, shipping commitment and schedule, shipping for export etc.

·        Compiling  data and reports, Production process, Production and shipping schedule，Specifications, Prices, Lead times, etc, in an organized manner for the team's program management, and documentation management and classifying.

·        Conduct continuous risk assessment for production and control cost  to meet budget and cost reduction plan for products;

·        Serve as our primary relationship manager with suppliers

·        Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.

·        Monitor progress and adjust as needed.

·        Measure productions performance to identify areas for improvement.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS: 

 

·       Bachelor's degree or above in related field

·       5-8 years of project/production management and related experience

·       Proven ability to solve problems creatively

·       Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

·       Experience seeing production through the full life cycle.

·       Excellent analytical skills
